The International Automotive Remarketers Alliance is preparing for a robust 20th anniversary Summer Roundtable in San Antonio, Texas, on Aug. 24-26 that will offer plenty to learn and talk about.

“Not only are we excited to be celebrating our longevity, but more so, the opportunity to return to in-person events and enjoying time with colleagues and friends”, said Tony Long, IARA executive director, in a press release. “By all accounts, this is tracking to be record-setting registration - and attendees will not be disappointed.”

As of last week, registrations stood at 200+ and organizers are expecting about 230 total, with the final week leading up to conferences usually bringing out a last-minute attendees. The event will be held at the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk.

The IARA’s Conference Management and Education Committee gathered information and worked hard to develop relevant and timely content for this meeting.

Expert speakers and panelists are assembled for topics such as:

  • Guidebook Valuations
  • Dealer Relations
  • Emerging Marketplaces
  • IARA Initiatives
  • The Future of E-Vehicles

The IARA will also be presenting several awards to recognize the accomplishments of leaders in the vehicle consignment and auction industry.

Rounding out the stellar program is the closing session where the IARA is bringing together leaders from two major auction groups as they prepare for transition.

This dynamic foursome, Jim Hallett and Peter Kelly of KAR Global, and Sandy Schwartz and Steve Rowley of Cox Automotive, will come together, on one stage, to share wisdom from years of experience and their outlook for the future.

The IARA urges industry professionals to not miss an unprecedented event and the opportunity to gain unique insights not available anywhere else.
