AUSTIN, TEXAS – The premier financing company for lessors and fleet management companies, Innovative Funding Services (IFS), announced Robert W. McKie will be joining their executive team as the Chief Operating Officer.
Tim Janssen, president of IFS said, "With the incredible growth we have experienced over the last year, we needed an industry expert to guide our next phase of development and expand our lender relationships. Robert's 18 year track record in the financial services and consumer lending area makes him the perfect candidate to lead our team to new heights over the coming years."
In his most recent position as the vice president of Sales at Wells Fargo Financial in Eden Prairie, Minn., McKie led five teams of sales professionals throughout the United States. Under his tenure they expanded market share, and grew ROA and Equity in 2008, a year that saw many companies reducing their work force. His leadership, training and customer focused attitude was truly instrumental to the success of this Well Fargo division.
McKie shared, "In these challenging times Innovative Funding Services has built a team that provides solutions that are critical to lessors and fleet management organizations. By continuing our focus and expanding our network of lenders we will be able to provide a broader range of services for all of our clients. I strongly feel that 2010 will certainly be an exciting year for IFS."
McKie holds a B.S. in Marketing/Organizational Management. He and his family will be relocating to Austin, Texas, and they are planning to continue their community activities and involvement with organizations like United Way and Habitat for Humanity.
