Salvage auction specialist Copart has acquired Autovahinkokeskus Oy, a salvage auto auction company based in Finland, the company announced.
Autovahinkokeskus Oy, which does business as AVK, is one of the biggest salvage auto auction providers in Finland, Copart stated. Through the acquisition of the Finland-based auction, Copart hopes to extend its presence in the Nordic Region of Europe.
Copart has over 200 locations spread across 11 countries. It’s daily inventory of more than 125,000 vehicles reaches more than 750,000 members across 170 countries.
