KAR Auction Services, Inc. has committed $250,000 to City Life Wheels of Central Indiana, a non-profit that uses donated vehicles to teach Indianapolis youth basic auto maintenance and repair skills, according to a company announcement.

The bulk of the donation, $225,000, is helping fund the purchase and renovation of the City Life Wheels facility, which houses six automotive repair bays and lifts, diagnostic and repair equipment, and classroom space.

The remaining $25,000 will be donated in 2018 in order to expand the scope and reach of the City Life Wheels program.
