ServNet has appointed Eric Autenrieth as president for a two-year term to replace Kevin Brown, who will move into the role of chairman of the board, the company announced.

Autenrieth has previously served as vice president and treasurer for the independent auction network. He is the general manager of the Carolina Auto Auction and owner of the Indiana Auto Auction. Autenrieth was confirmed by ServNet owners at their business meeting in October.

Autenrieth's mother, Patty Stanley, served as ServNet's president from 2014 to 2015, and recently completed a two-year term as chairman of the board. Father Henry Stanley served as president for the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA) from 1999 to 2000. Both are members of the NAAA Hall of Fame.

Autenrieth joined the family business in 1997 as an outside dealer representative at the Carolina Auto Auction. Through the next decade, he also worked as sales and marketing manager, fleet/lease manager, and assistant general manager. When the family purchased Indiana Auto Auction in 2007, Autenrieth moved north to manage that facility until 2016, when he returned to Carolina Auto Auction as the facility’s general manager.

ServNet also welcomed two new members of its seven-member board, including Bruce Beam and John Poteet. Beam, who owns Dealers Auto Auction of Oklahoma City, will serve as vice president. Poteet, who owns Louisiana’s 1st Choice Auto Auction, will serve as secretary and treasurer. Three at-large directors will return, including Beth Barber (State Line Auto Auction), Steve DeLuca (Auto Auction of New England), and Ashley Dietze (San Antonio Auction).
