Vehicle inspection company Alliance Inspection Management (AiM) has launched Aimcertify.com, a platform that will provide information about the condition of a car or truck located in the U.S. prior to a purchase.

The website will offer multiple-tiered packages that will range in price and include a 150-point inspection; bumper-to-bumper interior and exterior evaluation; a test drive by the inspector; photos documenting the inspection; and online reporting, according to AiM.

"One of the biggest concerns when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle are underlying issues that might go unnoticed," said Eric Widmer, AiM's senior vice president of sales and marketing. "Prospective buyers can use our service to ensure these items get identified before they pay for their car."

Aimcertify.com will be using AiM's proprietary software, hardware, and training to provide its reports. Today, Kelley Blue Book launched a pilot of Aimcertify.com on its own website.
