New IARA Recognition and Awards Committee Chairs Step Up as Longstanding Chairman Steps Down

After years as the IARA’s Recognition and Awards Committee chair, Dave Alfonso has stepped down from the position, following his retirement from the remarketing industry.

Mary Haller, regional manager at America’s Auto Auction and Paul Seger, VP, remarketing for Element have stepped up as co-chairs of the committee.

Earlier this year, the committee worked with the IARA board of directors to decide the recipient of the 2017 IARA Circle of Excellence Award. At the Conference of Automotive Remarketing Tony Moorby received the award.

The committee has also been collaborating with board members to decide the recipient of the IARA Special Achievement Award that will be presented at the 2017 IARA Summer Roundtable.
