“The IARA is an amazing alliance of remarketing professionals that offers members a boutique style environment that is solely focused on the remarketing industry. The IARA is truly an international alliance which has welcomed Canadian members. Our Canadian IARA members have been able to build new and lasting relationships with our American peers, which has been an invaluable experience.”

In April of this year, the Canadian Committee awarded the Remarketer of the Year Award to Claudio De Angelis of Foss National Leasing and the Industry Recognition Award to Jean-Marc Leclerc of Honda Canada at the Auto Remarketing Canada Conference.

The IARA has sponsored the Remarketer of the Year Award, a highlight of the Auto Remarketing Canada Conference for the past several years.

Objectives of the committee include promoting the Canadian Remarketing industry, conducting educational conferences to discuss current events and industry trends, promote and adapt the IARA Certification program among Canadian members, provide a venue for developing standards in the Canadian remarketing industry, and becoming a recognized industry source for remarketing industry advice for proposed national or provincial rules and regulations.
