IARA Launches New Website, Adds Co-Chair

The IARA was able to launch a new website this year — IARA.biz — thanks to the efforts of its Technology Committee and Executive Director Tony Long.

The new website — IARA.biz — features an RSS feed with daily news feed of remarketing-related news, a large homepage slider with updated photos of IARA events, links to upcoming conferences, and more.

Alongside a new website, the IARA also gained a new co-chair to the Technology Committee: Venkat Krishnamoorthy, CIO of AutoIMS. The committee is now chaired by John Elizaga, director remarketing operations at EMKAY and Krishnamoorthy.

Going forward, the committee is pursuing a list of key internet-based resources for remarketers and developing a site where this list, descriptions, and user comments will be available.

More long-term objectives include monitoring and reporting on the development of technological innovations specific to remarketers and working with developers to improve their products to better serve remarketers.
