NextGear capital has named Lisa Mackie as its vice president of sales, a newly created a new position to support future growth in the inventory-financing sector, according to a company announcement.
Mackie, who most recently served as the director of commercial dealer services at Capital One, will be joining the company with more than 20 years of auto finance and commercial sales leadership experience.

In her new role at NextGear, she will be responsible for strategic leadership, vision and execution of the company’s sales efforts, the company noted.
While at Capital One, Mackie was responsible for driving floor plan sales growth across multiple states, according to the company. Before that, she served in executive roles at Hyundai Capital and Chase dealer commercial services. Mackie began her career in the Ford Motor Credit Manager Training Program.
