Columbus Fair Auto Auction has developed its own compliance department so it can apply resources on safety, environmental, and other high profile regulatory issues, the family-owned auction has announced.

“We’ve recognized the need for a centralized approach for our compliance efforts and feel that we are in turn being progressive for auctions of our size,” said Greg Levi, COO of the auction.

Angela Whitt, the auction’s compliance manager, will focus on building a comprehensive a unified system that addresses high impact regulations and operational controls.

“We recognize our consignors, customers, partners, vendors, and employees all need a unified resource with streamlined communication regarding our compliance in areas that range from employee and guest safety to how we protect our data. The auction environment is surprisingly complex and an efficient solution to compliance is in high demand," said Levi.

Columbus Fair Auto Auction is an independent auction member of the National Automobile Auction Association.
