KAR to Auction Off Chrysler 300 for Charity

Members of the KAR Auction Services group of companies will auction off an ivory white 2015 Chrysler 300 Limited for charity during the NIADA Convention and Expo.

ADESA, AFC, IAA, and TradeRev will be auctioning off the vehicle to benefit the NIADA Foundation. The car will be on display in the expo hall during the convention, with the auction being held Thursday, June 16.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit the NIADA Foundation, which spearheads the association's charity as well as awards scholarships to college-bound students and provids training and educational opportunities to automobile dealers and the general public.

In 2015, the foundation's activities included significant donations to the Heart of a Warrior Foundation, the Austin Disaster Relief Network and other charities.

ADESA will transport the vehicle free for the winning bidder.

Over the past three years, the companies a total of $69,700 for the NIADA Foundation at the convention. During last year's event, a 2013 Mercedes C250W sold for $27,500.
