Auction Academy Expands to Four Sessions in 2016

In the wake of its inaugural Seminar Series event held last summer in Chicago, Auction Academy has announced that the program will be expanded in 2016 to include four individual sessions.
“We felt there was a need in the industry for a shorter term training program with an intensive focus on specific topics, and thus launched our Seminar Series with a session for Digital Managers last July,” explained Auction Academy CEO Pierre Pons. “That session was a resounding success, with attendance far exceeding our initial estimates and very positive evaluations. As a result, we decided to expand the Seminar Series to include one session in each quarter in 2016, highlighting a key topic of specific interest to the independent auction community at each session.”
Pons reported that the first session in Auction Academy’s 2016 Seminar Series will focus on Dealer Sales and will be held February 8-9, 2016. On June 20-21, 2016, auction internet managers will meet for the Digital Managers session. Fleet/Lease Account Management will be examined at the third quarter session, set for September 26-27, 2016. Scheduled for December 5-6, 2016, is a session covering Compliance issues, which is designed for auction general managers and safety officers. All sessions of the 2016 Seminar Series will be held in Nashville, Tenn.
Space for each of the sessions in Auction Academy’s 2016 Seminar Series is limited, noted Pons, who urges members of the independent auction community to reserve their space early. To sign up for a session or to get more program details, contact Penny Wanna at Auction Academy via e-mail at pwanna@auctionacademy.net or call (651) 591-4544.
The Auction Academy is a continuing education program developed by TPC Management Company (TPC) for professionals in the auto auction industry. In addition to the Seminar Series, Auction Academy provides a two-year training and development experience for automotive auction professionals, structured like an Executive MBA program. With faculty drawn from expert practitioners around the country, Auction Academy’s programs are designed to enhance essential skill sets, promote best practices and yield better auction performance.
