“It is an absolute honor and privilege to become not only President of IARA but its first female President (I know I have probably said that far too many times!). I have seen the industry grow tremendously over the years.  Simply put, I am so excited not only be a part of this amazing alliance but assist in leading the way these next two years to helping the industry grow even more,” said Chiaromonte.

Chiaromonte has been involved in the Alliance for more than seven years and an active participant in several subcommittees. In October 2013, she was named the 2nd vice president for the Alliance.

“What a great job Levi McCoy did this year as outgoing President. Moving ahead, we are looking forward to our 15th year anniversary being held in Toronto, Canada. What a great opportunity to be joined with our Canadian partners and experience the true ‘I’ in IARA (International). The Education Committee is already working on some ideas,” she said. “There were many great initiatives started this last year by not only the Standards Committee but also the Technology, Certification, and Education committees. I look forward to developing new initiatives along the way and seeing the current ones to fruition. Executive Director Tony Long, myself, the Committee Chairpersons, as well as our great committee members are devoted to being an integral part of the success of the industry. Another goal will be to continue to grow our membership base.”

Chiaromonte currently manages the vehicle, RV, marine, and motorcycle remarketing portfolio and transportation on a national level for Bank of America Dealer Financial Services, which provides comprehensive financial services to the automotive, recreational vehicle, and marine industries.

She manages all aspects of the auction remarketing operations and is responsible for developing all strategies associated with the remarketing process and result tracking. Chiaromonte joined the Bank in October 1991. She has also held positions including auto lease-end officer, collateral recovery officer, and auction remarketing representative.

Chiaromonte is a member of Manheim and ADESA Client Advisory Boards and IARA Board of Directors and involves herself in special projects and conference panel discussions. Chiaromonte graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from the University of La Verne in La Verne, Calif. with honors.
