Carolina Auto Auction hosted its annual Corn Roast on June 24th featuring 1,000 vehicles for sale. About 550 dealers attended the Southeast's largest independent auto auction and ate 700 ears of corn. The sale was held in conjunction with CAA's larger 50 Days of Summer event where dealers have a chance to win $35,000 in cash and prizes on July 15th.

To combat the heat, Carolina gave away over 1300 bottles of ice cold water and 25 gallons of lemonade over the two-week heatwave period as temperatures hovered around 100 degrees during sale time. The auction also continued its weekly Auto Lotto drawing at the end of the sale where one lucky dealer is guaranteed to walk away with $500 cash each week. This week was Rick Austin from Austin's Automotive.

50 Days of Summer concluded on July 15th for Carolina Auto Auction, when dealers won $35,000 in cash and prizes for vehicles purchased during the seven-week sales event.
