XLerate’s CEO Cam Hitchcock stated, “With the addition of GKAA, XLerate continues the objective of growing our business by acquiring quality independent sales to enhance our auction family offering.”  Hitchcock continued, “This acquisition bolsters XLerate’s presence in the key Midwest market.  We are honored that the Devries family entrusts us with its legacy and very much look forward to working with them over the coming years.”

GKAA’s founder, Don Devries, calls this a “great match,” saying, “our family looks forward to seamlessly joining the XLerate family of auctions, widely recognized for superior customer service and business integrity.  Combining the companies will benefit our customers and employees as well as enhancing the existing quality brand of XLerate auctions.”

GKAA features fleet, lease, financial institution and dealer consignment sales each Thursday at its Schoolcraft, Michigan location, just south of Kalamazoo. The auction features an eight-lane arena, nine-bay reconditioning facility, and mechanical shop situated on approximately 50 acres, allowing for an efficient experience focused on the needs of the customer.
