Jeff Bennett has been named vice president of national account sales at Lynnway Auto Auction. The announcement was made by company President James Lamb.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Jeff Bennett to Lynnway Auto Auction,” Lamb said. “His many years of experience in the auction industry, as well as in fleet remarketing, make him uniquely qualified to head National Account Sales. We know he will prove to be a tremendous asset to our management team, and we are excited to work with him as we build our customer base and refine the service offered to our national accounts.”

Bennett comes to Lynnway Auto Auction after five years with ARI, where he was responsible for the remarketing of the heavy trucks, vocational trucks, and equipment fleet for ARI’s leasing programs. His experience also includes 10 years at State Line Auto Auction, developing regional, national and international lease, fleet and bank accounts, as well as growing business relationships with new and used car dealers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison University, where he majored in English and Business Administration, with an emphasis in Marketing and Accounting.

“I am thrilled to join the staff at Lynnway Auto Auction and am happy to be back in the auction world,” said Bennett. “Founders Jim Lamb, George Russo, and Richie Delfino lead a thriving auction facility that is an indispensible resource for used car remarketing in the Northeast.  I am excited to work with them and the members of their auction team to continue building their influence in the marketplace.”

Lynnway Auto Auction was founded in 1997 by former auctioneers Jim Lamb and George Russo and a VP of Operations, Richie Delfino, all with more than 30 years experience in vehicle auction remarketing. The auction quickly gained a reputation for superior facility management, transportation management, reconditioning service, mechanical and body repairs, on-site floor planning, and first-rate customer service. Located in North Bellerica, Mass., the auction’s high-tech, 58-acre, 8-lane facility is one of the largest in the region. The auction welcomes dealers from throughout the region to a sale every Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.
