ADESA announced changes to two of the company’s auction locations. Dan Dietsch, who served as general manager of ADESA Memphis since 2007, has been selected as the new general manager of ADESA Nashville.

In addition, Michael Schenks, previously the dealer sales manager at ADESA Sarasota, will now serve as the general manager for ADESA Memphis.

“Dan has been instrumental in helping to transform our Memphis location into one of our fastest-growing auctions,” said ADESA President and CEO Tom Caruso. “He has consistently demonstrated the skill and knowledge necessary to manage a successful auction. I’m excited he has chosen to bring this expertise to another ADESA location.”

Dietsch joined ADESA as a general manager. Prior to that, he served as an assistant general manager for Manheim Auctions and held several positions with ADT Auctions including national inspection manager.

Schenks’ background includes four years in his most recent position with ADESA. Prior to that, he was AutoNation used vehicle director of North Florida.

“It was a pleasure to name Michael and Dan to these positions,” said Caruso. “Both are extremely knowledgeable about the markets in which they work. These are individuals who strive to make customers their top priority. I know that both ADESA Nashville and ADESA Memphis will thrive under their leadership.”
