DAA Northwest President Bob McConkey shared some exciting news with customers during opening announcements Thursday, March 14th: The auction is expanding into Western Washington and will be opening "DAA Seattle" in late April.

"We are excited to expand into a marketplace that we are very familiar with and feel a special connection to," said McConkey. Both he and DAA vice
president Greg Mahugh grew up not far from the new auction's Auburn, Washington location.

Leading the DAA team in Seattle will be Dave Walker and Jim Kriens. Walker, who has served as a DAA Northwest Western Washington field representative along with Kriens, brings years of industry experience to the new auction.

"During our time in the field, Jim and I learned that dealers are eager for the 'DAA Experience' within their market. The time is right for that to happen," he said.

Walker will serve as the auction manager, whle Kriens will oversee sales. DAA Seattle will feature weekly wholesale vehicle sales on its 16-acre campus. It is a member of the McConkey Auction Group and ServNet, powered by Auction Edge.
