Brasher’s will celebrate 35 years in Sacramento, Calif., with a two-day Anniversary sale set for March 18th and 19th at Brasher’s Sacramento Auto Auction. The event will kick-off with Brasher’s Live! on Monday night, when the auction will entertain customers at an elegant dinner followed by performance by master illusionist Dennis Watkins. After the dinner and show on Monday evening, Brasher’s will hold a 500-unit sale, following up on Tuesday with more than 2,000 units at what promises to be the biggest sale of the year.
During the two-day event, Brasher’s will give away more than $50,000 in cash and prizes, including a classic 1965 Ford Mustang, and a trip for two to New York City.
On Monday evening, March 18th, customers will see the auction in a way they’ve never seen it before, promised John Brasher.
After dinner, the auction’s guests then move to Brasher’s own comedy club, Brasher’s LIVE! where the auction will recognize the newest members of its Silver Circle, dealers who have done business with the auction for 25 years or more. Then, guests will be entertained by award-winning magician and world-class entertainer Dennis Watkins, who will deliver a captivating theatrical thrill-ride, with classic magic and mind-blowing stage illusion.
While the customers are enjoying the show, the auction staff will be busy at work behind the scenes, conjuring its own magic to clear the auction lanes to make way for a 500 vehicle sale. The Monday evening sale will feature consignments Santander Consumer, Avis/Budget group, and a group of new car dealers, Including Swift of Davis, Wittmeier Group, Vacaville Dodge, Geweke Ford, and Future Ford. On Tuesday, the auction will roll out the red carpet for its biggest sale of the year, when more than 2,000 vehicles will cross the auction block.
“Our Anniversary Sale is an event not to be missed,” said Brasher. “Every year this sale surpasses the last, and it’s our opportunity to thank our customers in a big way for their friendship and loyalty.
Brasher’s Sacramento Auto Auction holds a weekly consignment sale on Tuesdays starting at 8:45 am, and bi-weekly Ford Factory sales. It is one of seven auctions owned by the Brasher family, and is a member of the ServNet Auction Group.
