CHARLESTON, SC - American Auto Auction Group (AAAG) announced that two of its newest auction properties, Your Auction of Pasco and Badger State Auto Auction, have been officially recognized as members of the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA). Your Auction of Pasco is a greenfield site, opened in Holiday, Florida by AAAG in March of 2012. Badger State Auto Auction, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin was acquired by AAAG in June of 2012.

Keith Lelux, AAAG founding member, director and COO said, “We’re very pleased that these two AAAG facilities are now official members of the NAAA.  Our strategy in growing AAAG continues to be to build the strongest independent auctions in the markets we enter, and association with the NAAA is an indication of our auctions’ success and alignment with the NAAA’s code of ethics. We congratulate the management team and staff at both facilities for their work in building two outstanding auction operations in their markets.”

Lelux noted that the auctions were designated official members of the NAAA at the Association’s Annual Conference in Orlando in October.  At the same meeting, DeWayne Musick, general manager at another AAAG facility, Your Auction of Ft. Myers, was named to the board of directors of NAAA’s Southern Chapter.

“We congratulate DeWayne on this appointment, which brings to a total of three members of the AAAG family serving the NAAA,” said Lelux, noting that also serving in leadership positions with the Southern Chapter of the NAAA are Laura Taylor, general manager of Charleston Auto Auction and Bob Sullivan, general manager of Mid-South Auction. “We appreciate their involvement in our industry’s association and admire their tireless efforts on our behalf.”

AAAG was launched in January 2010 by Steve Simon and Keith Lelux.  Building a national platform of independent auctions throughout the country, AAAG provides a viable alternative for vehicle sellers who require national sales coverage.

American Auto Auction Group is headed by industry leaders Bill McIver, Keith Lelux, and Darris McClure. Headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, AAAG now includes twenty-four auto auction operations, including the premier auction properties of Charleston Auto Auction in Moncks Corner, SC; Mid-South Auction in Jackson, MS; Texas Lone Star Auto Auction in Carrollton, TX; Badger State Auto Auction in Fond du Lac, WI; Your Auction in Tampa, Ft. Myers, and Pasco, FL; and Auctions In Motion locations in Pasadena, Santa Ana, Ventura and Thousand Oaks, CA. AAAG also operates Private Label sales at an additional thirteen locations in Florida, Mississippi and Texas.
