ATLANTA – Putting the power of Manheim’s marketplace in the palms of dealers’ hands, Manheim has just released myMobileListing. The new mobile app allows dealers to list vehicles in the Manheim marketplace and disclose vehicle condition information directly from their lots using an iPad and/or iPhone. Powered by cDemo, the myMobileListing app also allows dealers to upload up to 24 images and five short videos that stitch into a virtual walk-around to display the vehicle’s condition.
Here’s how it works. When listing a vehicle, the seller inputs the condition information into the application. Once the listing is complete, a Manheim algorithm applies a condition grade to the vehicle based on the information provided by the seller. This grade, ranked on a 0.0 - 5.0 scale, appears on Manheim.com, OVE.com, Mobile Search Results Pages, Vehicle Detail Pages and the Seller Disclosure platform. Creating a Basic Listing in the Manheim marketplace with the myMobileListing app takes approximately five minutes. Creating a Seller Disclosure takes approximately 8 to 12 minutes.
“As our data depicts, more dealers are utilizing their mobile devices to conduct business,” said Joe George, senior vice president of product development. “Benefiting our buyers and sellers, the myMobileListing app lets our sellers conveniently disclose the condition of vehicles and visually capture damages with images and videos. This gives our buyers the transparency they need to purchase with confidence.”
The myMobileListing application is free to download for all dealers and free to use for registered Manheim dealers. The myMobileListing app provides step-by-step instructions to guide sellers through the listing and disclosure process. Additionally, an online workshop on myMobileListing will be hosted by Manheim’s The Wholesale Institute team on Wednesday, Oct. 17starting at 10 a.m. EST.
To celebrate the release of this mobile application, Manheim is giving away a new iPadto one lucky user of the application that registers between Oct. 1, 2012 – Nov. 2, 2012.
To register for and download the myMobileListing app, please visit www.manheim.com/mymobilelisting.
The myMobleListing app will be available for Androids this fall.
