Auctioneer Steve Sims first came up with the idea for the sale. An inspiration to his fellow staff members, he felt this was an opportunity for ADESA employees and dealers to support the local community.
“The entire team is thankful that our dealers share our philosophy of giving back,” Sims added. “We are truly overjoyed for this outpouring of support.”
Items up for auction were sponsored by ADESA and sister company Automotive Finance Corporation. They included goods such as a tote bag, chainsaw, rake and more. ADESA also contributed $5,000 cash.
Proceeds from the sale were donated to the American Red Cross of Greater Arkansas.
