Mercedes-Benz USA Appoints Cornell as General Manager, Fleet and Pre-Owned
According to Mercedes, Cornell will be responsible for customer experience, sales volume, and meeting profit targets for the fleet operations department, and the pre-owned vehicles and remarketing programs.

Mercedes-Benz USA announced a number of changes to its senior management team at its corporate headquarters in Montvale, N.J. and in its regional offices, including the appointment of Kurt Cornell to the position of general manager, fleet and pre-owned. Mercedes stated this appointment goes into effect May 1, 2013.
Cornell replaces Mark Webster, who has a new role as general manager of the smart brand for the automaker.
According to Mercedes, Cornell will be responsible for customer experience, sales volume, and meeting profit targets for the fleet operations department, and the pre-owned vehicles and remarketing programs. Cornell’s most recent role was as area manager for Mercedes’ western region.
