MT. VERNON, IOWA - Plaza Auto Auction, in Mt. Vernon, Iowa announces that the auction is the ONLY auto auction to offer sales on the www.OVE.com platform in the state of Iowa.
“As the longest running auction in the state of Iowa; Plaza Auto Auction has a long history of innovation and leading practices. Dealers are accustomed to being able to access the latest technologies and a broad range of vehicle inventory through our auction," said Owner Mark Greb.
Added, Joe George, group VP for Manheim Online Solutions, “We are very pleased to have Plaza Auto Auction as our facilitating point in the state of Iowa. Mark and his staff have provided Midwest dealers and commercial accounts with great services for many years and OVE.com to their offering was the next logical step. Plaza is a strong OVE.com partner in providing dealers throughout the Midwest access to vehicle inventories and efficient processing of transactions.
Plaza Auto Auction has been in operation for over 45 years and is the largest Wednesday evening auto auction in the Midwest for 40 of those years. Auction owner, Mark Greb, is a long-time veteran of the auto auction industry, having worked at both ADT and Manheim before acquiring Plaza Auto Auction in June of 2003. Since purchasing the auction, he has overseen upgrades to both the physical site and to the growing use of Internet channels for remarketing vehicles.
“It made good business sense for us to partner with OVE.com, to allow dealers the flexibility of transacting vehicles seven days a week and 24 hours a day,” explains Greb. “Today’s business environment requires innovation and the staff at OVE.com are at the absolute cutting edge. Internet sale transactions are continuing to grow, and we are now seeing many of our Fleet/Lease Accounts also using OVE.com to sell vehicles beyond the weekly Wednesday physical sale day.”
Plaza Auto Auction has regular auction sales every Wednesday and can be found on the web at www.plazaaa.com">www.plazaaa.com. The auctions offers over 500 vehicles for sale weekly, across five auction lanes with monthly specialty sales for trucks and motor sports. Dealers can choose Plaza Auto Auction to facilitate OVE dealer to dealer transactions, and institutional accounts can have their vehicles posted for sale seven days a week.
